  In the meetings except the Bulgarian actors from Sofia Energy Agency - SOFENA and the Regional Administration - Gabrovo, project partners from Greece, Slovenia, Romania and Italy participated. As host of the two events SOFENA invited other Bulgarian and foreign organizations to share their experiences and practices to improve the energy efficiency of buildings, as a result of their activities on the implementation of European projects.

During the thematic seminar on financing of energy efficiency of buildings the results of the study on the financial and other fiscal instruments for improving the energy performance of buildings in the countries / regions of the nine project partners were presented. As a result of the information from the survey of partners SOFENA prepared a report with detailed analysis of the funding programs in Southeast Europe and the participants from Greece, Slovenia, Romania, Bulgaria and Italy shared their experiences and gave advice about the financial resources to stimulate energy efficiency of buildings.

During the meeting for the exchange of good practices SOFENA presented the participation in the project ENTRANZE under IEE program, as well as project STACCATO, under which  the upgrading  of a hospital, University Hospital "Queen Joanna - ISUL" takes place by introducing intelligent control of heating and photovoltaic panels and hot water collectors on the roof.

Representatives of the Sofia Municipality shared their ideas on the project EnVision'2020 for Energy foresight and preparation of energy strategies in Southeast Europe, and in cooperation with the European Institute for Labour they introduced the results of the competition for the conceptual design of an eco-village near Sofia under the project MILD HOME of SEE programme.

The TRACE project is being co-funded under Priority Axis 2 - Protection and Improvement of the Environment of the South East Europe Programme, achieving the corresponding objectives through the Area of Intervention (AoI) 2.4 - Promote energy and resources efficiency.
